MIPIM has pledged to be a pioneering event in matters of sustainability. Having a positive social impact is one of our commitments.

Positive social impact

MIPIM collects and reuses a range of materials through our partnership with non-profit association GreenBee, to share resources with local communities and minimise the creation of waste. 

Materials donation for reuse

We are working hand in hand with GreenBee Upcycling to collect various materials for re-use.

The decorators employed by RX France, organizer of MIPIM, worked on the inventory of eligible materials. This work was also carried out with the decorator of Greater Paris, a signatory of the Charter for a Sustainable MIPIM, and the decorator of Stockholm.

Food donation

After the Opening Reception at MIPIM 2024, a food donation of 40 kilos was made to the "Halte de Nuit" (Samu Social), the equivalent of 84 meals served in the port of Nice.

Architectes de l'urgence

MIPIM invited Architectes de l'Urgence (emergency architects) to participate to MIPIM 2024.

Virtuous partnerships

We care about who we work with, and choose partners that share our vision. We are proud to say that all the coffee in our lounges and offices at MIPIM is provided by Café Joyeux, a family of café-restaurants that contributes to professional inclusion of people with mental and cognitive disabilities. We also collaborate with les Alchimistes, for the collection and composting of food waste from our cocktails. We're also working with Ezymob, a young start up, to provide clients with a navigation app adapted to every need.

The MIPIM Sustainability Pledge

We are inviting exhibitors to join us in becoming signatories of an ambitious agreement and to commit to low carbon transporation, a greener stand and active engagement with the values of diversity, equity and inclusion.
